Task

The client (Ian's wife) needed a really simple site to showcase her amazing custom votive candles. She pours them in whatever color and scent that her customers choose and ships them anywhere in any quantity. They are great for weddings and special events and she needed to focus on that market.

Solution

We created a really clean brand which is an anomaly in the space. Most of the competition has 5-10 year old brands and sites and we wanted to make something very modern and very clean.

Since the candles can really be ANY color we found it best to create an illustrated candle that we could then color in to create the sense that you really could choose anything to color in your candle. We also tied in pictures of real candles to make sure that people were aware that this was for real if there were any doubts.

We laid out the order form using wufoo.com and made it as simple as possible so customers could easily place their orders. Most of our attentions were placed on creating a presence for the business on twitter and facebook where the client connects with customers, runs contests and posts news.
